Meet the Instructors
Matt Prior


Hailing from Wales, Matt has been a PGA Professional since 2001. Matt works with individuals and groups of all ages and abilities, believing that learning and improving fundamentals in a relaxed, friendly environment is the secret to consistent golf.

Prior to joining the Willowcreek Golf Academy in 2008, Matt composed quite the playing resume, boasting 13 Professional wins, as well representing his country in the 2004 European Championship.

Both a PGA Professional and a TPI Certified Instructor, Tom believes that a golf-related stretching, and strength and mobility routine can not only make you more efficient, but that you can change your swing by training your body the right way.

With an undeniable track record coaching at both the collegiate and local club level, Tom has a passion for swing efficiency and golf fitness, of which he believes that results speak for themselves.

Brian Diamond


A 20-year Member of the PGA of America and TPI Certified Instructor, Brian works with golfers of all skill levels to improve six key areas of their games: basic instruction/fundamentals, shot-making skills, course management, mental/emotional approach, equipment, and physical conditioning. Brian believes that there is no one specific way or technique to swing a golf club, but that each student should be assessed to determine and develop the efficiencies of their personalized swing.

Brian resides in Atkinson and is extremely passionate about growing the game of golf here locally through our junior golf programs. He serves on the Board of Directors of The First Tee of New Hampshire and helped establish Willowcreek Golf Academy as a First Tee Program Location in 2015. Brian is also a Certified Coach for U.S. Kids Golf and a Certified Expert Representative for the Titleist Performance Institute.

Brian works with beginner, intermediate and advanced golfers to help them in six key areas of their games: Basic Instruction/fundamentals; Shot Making Skills; Course Management; Mental/Emotional; Equipment and Physical Conditioning. He believes there is no one technique or way to swing a golf club and that each individual student should be properly assessed to determine and develop their efficient swing.
Mike LaBrie


Originally from the Merrimack Valley, Mike is a TPI Certified Instructor who works with players of varying skill levels and abilities on all aspects of the golf swing, and mental game, with a deep, philosophical interest in course management, the short game, and club fitting and building.

Prior to coming to Atkinson, Mike was a Teaching Professional on Cape Cod, while also traveling and working out on the PGA Tour as a Player Recruiter for the Shriner’s Open in Las Vegas.

Christina Ricci


Christina took up the game in 2000 and quickly dropped to a 5 handicap in 5 short years. Her passion and commitment to the game shifted her career from her own marketing and branding company into the publishing world where she launched her first book, A Girl’s On-Course Survival Guide to Golf —and with three other additional books that have followed.

She has helped grow and promote the game of golf to women in her very unique way since 2008, branding herself as one of the top promoters of women’s golf. She supports such initiatives as

• LPGA*USGA Girls Golf
• Doctors Orders: Play Golf

Christina has established a brand that communicates the game, which began with her personal story. Her unique presentation of strong visuals, non-technical language, and a splash of humor, keeps women engaged and getting more pars.
More than 100,000 women are enjoying more pars through her books, game improvement products, golf schools and clinics. Her 4 books are sold at golf mass retailers across the country including: Dick’s Sporting Goods, PGA Tour Superstores, Golf Galaxies and many more.
She is available for privates, semi-privates and hosts Summer Clinics and Golf Schools.
